Job Description

The Manager – Digital Forensics will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight in the detection, investigation, and prevention of cyber-enabled and technology-related financial crimes. The role is responsible for managing digital forensic operations to support tax compliance, fraud detection, and enforcement activities across the Authority.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Digital Forensics function within URA.
  • Oversee digital investigations related to tax evasion, fraud, cybercrime, and data breaches.
  • Develop and implement digital forensic policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead forensic analysis of digital devices, systems, and networks to extract and preserve evidence.
  • Support intelligence, compliance, and enforcement teams with expert forensic input.
  • Manage and mentor forensic analysts and technical staff.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and secure handling of digital evidence.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies, cyber threats, and forensic tools.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external law enforcement agencies as required.
