Manager – Solutions Manager Job at Visa

Job Description
We are currently seeking a Manager to join our Products and Solutions team. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience and backgrounds to be part of our progressive team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading commercialization and technical solution engagements with Visa partners and clients. As a member of the Products and Solutions team team, your focus will be on driving the adoption and success of Visa Fintech partners in launching card programs, issuing new cards, and enabling digital services.
This position is unique as it combines solutioning, technology architecture, hands-on technical support, project/program management and client/partner relationship management. You will need to have a deep understanding of payments API technology, card processing solutions, and card operations.
Your main responsibilities will include directing client and partner teams, as well as technology and product teams, in solution design. You will lead in-depth discussions to define user flows and user experiences and assist partners in developing both frontend and backend infrastructure. Collaboration and effective communication skills are essential, as you will engage with various teams, projects, and locations across different time zones.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Driving partners to implement Visa solutions: You will guide and support partners throughout the process of implementing Visa solutions. This includes helping them overcome technical challenges and providing advice on best practices.
- Leading client workshops: Conduct workshops to educate clients about Visa’s products and partner solutions that enable the issuance of Visa credentials. Your goal is to accelerate the adoption of these solutions by sharing your expertise and helping clients understand their benefits.
- Subject matter expertise: Become an expert on Visa’s core and digital solutions that enable card issuance and acceptance. Your deep knowledge will allow you to provide valuable guidance and insights to clients.
- Assisting with solution design: Work closely with clients to help them design solutions that leverage Visa’s offerings along with partner solutions. Your expertise ensures that solutions are optimized and aligned with Visa’s strategies.
- Managing client/partner implementations: Take ownership of program management for client and partner implementations, ensuring they are delivered on time and successfully launched. This involves coordinating stakeholders and resources.
- Designing and improving solutions: Collaborate with product owners to design new solutions and enhance existing ones. Your input contributes to the continuous improvement of Visa’s product offerings.
- Ensuring adherence to requirements and product strategy: Ensure client implementations meet minimum requirements and align with Visa’s product strategy. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure optimal solutions using Visa and partner capabilities.
- Managing project pipeline and engagements: Take responsibility for managing the project pipeline, prioritizing tasks, and driving client engagements. Effective project management and communication skills are crucial.
- Tracking implementation progress and providing support: Monitor implementation progress closely and act as the first line of support for any product-related issues. Your expertise helps troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Identifying relevant APIs and explaining functionality: Identify the most relevant APIs based on client needs and explain how Visa’s APIs function in detail. This knowledge enables you to provide tailored solutions to clients.
- Staying updated on industry trends: Stay informed about the latest trends in payments, technology, and business. Identify implications for Visa’s product and solutions strategy and understand their potential impact on clients’ businesses.
- Adopting human-centered design thinking: Apply human-centered design thinking to enhance Visa’s customer experience across its product and solutions sets. Prioritize the customer’s needs and preferences in your approach
