Job Description
The Manager – Human Resource Administration will lead and manage the Human Resource function across Mack Capitals’ companies. The role involves planning and implementing HR strategies, managing recruitment and talent development, overseeing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and supporting a positive and productive working environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and systems to support effective people management.
- Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and staff placement processes to attract and retain competent talent.
- Oversee employee performance management processes, including setting targets, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
- Manage staff welfare, employee relations, staff engagement initiatives, and grievance handling.
- Ensure compliance with Ugandan labour laws, company policies, and employment standards.
- Coordinate staff training, capacity building, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records including personnel files, leave management, payroll inputs, and attendance.
- Provide guidance and support to management on HR matters, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Prepare HR reports and contribute to strategic decision-making regarding people management.
- Promote a positive organizational culture founded on professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and accountability.
- Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by management.
