Job Description
Reporting to the Partnerships Director, the Manager, Partnerships & Philanthropy will focus on generating new donor relationships and managing existing ones to meet ambitious fundraising goals. The manager will craft proposals, coordinate with internal teams to design funding strategies, support country and global donor initiatives, and manage reporting dashboards and analytics.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, data proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. The role also includes limited travel (1–2 times per year) to country offices or team retreats.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Fundraising & Proposal Development
Generate and engage in-country and global donor leads
Prepare high-quality, brand-aligned pitch materials, concept notes, and proposals
Collaborate with program and research teams to design and communicate program frameworks for donors
Draft donor reports and funding communications
Relationship Management
Manage ongoing communication with assigned partners
Maintain strategic partner tracking and records
Ensure gold standard grants administration and reporting
Support management team with pitch materials and presentations
Project Management & Coordination
Lead special projects in collaboration with the VP of Partnerships
Coordinate across teams to meet fundraising timelines and proposal deadlines
Track pipeline health and performance against fundraising targets
Analytics & Reporting
Manage dashboards, trackers, and projections for the fundraising pipeline
Identify and implement improved analytics processes for strategy refinement
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Experience
At least 4 years of experience in a top private or public sector organization
Prior fundraising or partnership management experience is highly desirable
Key Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High emotional intelligence and collaboration mindset
Excellent project and time management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with development/humanitarian landscape
Demonstrated interest in data-driven solutions and social impact
