Job Description
McDermott is seeking a Maintenance Specialist (M,E&I) to join the team in Uganda. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance strategies for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation assets to ensure optimal equipment reliability and safety compliance.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (M,E&I) equipment.
- Manage on-site maintenance activities to ensure high availability and reliability of critical project assets.
- Coordinate with technical teams and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve technical malfunctions.
- Ensure all maintenance work is performed in strict adherence to company safety policies and international engineering standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, performance reports, and inventory for spare parts.
