Job Description
ASA Microfinance (U) Ltd is seeking for professional, confident, self-motivated, and committed team players to reinforce its capacity by filling the following vacant positions:
Job Summary:
The loan officers will identify and screen potential borrowers, carry out appraisals, approve loans with loan limit by reviewing applicant’s financial status, credit history, disbursing and collection of loans, monitoring and keep high loan portfolio, carry out business development activities and ensure smooth and sustainable operations at the branch level.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- You are responsible to achieve company set targets, such as clients, loans disbursement, OLP.
- You are responsible to maintain PAR as per the KPI & budget.
- Remain responsible for overall activities of 15-20 groups, where each group consists of 10-30 members.
- Complete groups formation in a new area within a maximum of 12 months after joining.
- Should market the product on daily basis enable to get more clients and formation of groups.
- Oversee 3/4 groups per day, five days of the week except Saturday and Sunday, and collect installments as per determined rates/rules.
- Play an effective role in making the groups at a proper place.
- Prepare the yearly plan in advance for disbursing Loan to the organized groups and submit it to the Branch Manager.
- Disburse loans following the set rules, such as member’s age, scheme/business, house statues, behavior etc. Remain responsible in case of any irregularities. Try to make proper utilization of credit.
- Take the initiative immediately for collection of the installment whenever a member expresses his/her inability to repay the credit installment due to any special reason. Inform the BM instantly about the default. Otherwise, the Loan Officer himself will bear all responsibilities.
- Maintain credit accounts-related forms/registers correctly on a daily basis. Avoid alterations/corrections or use of white ink on the accounts-related documents.
- Discharge special responsibilities assigned by the Branch Manager in the interest of the Company.
- Reside in the working station and office after joining as per rules of the Company.
- Enjoy leaves with prior approval of the authority according to the rules of the Company.
- Sign regularly the attendance book-cum-movement register kept in the branch office.
- Deposit the money collected from the groups as Loan installment to the Branch Manager/cashier without any delay. Keeping cash in hand is a punishable offence.
- Submit the all the documents to the Branch Manager at the time of transfer/resignation.
- Avoid activities against the Company, otherwise punishment will be imposed if proved.
- Should not be involved in any profession/work without permission of CEO.
- Fill up the advance loan application form, fill up daily collection sheet, Recovery amount to be posted in AMMS on daily basis.
- You are responsible to visit 2 Over Due & 1 Bad Debt daily (In case no OD, then 3 BD).
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.
