Job Description
ASA Microfinance (U) Ltd is seeking a dedicated IT Service Desk Officer to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems across the organization. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting staff with technical queries, and maintaining IT infrastructure to support business continuity.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests from staff.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords within the organization's systems.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and document technical procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on the effective use of IT resources.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
