Job Description
The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role requires professionalism, friendliness, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about available food and beverage items.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
- Serve meals, beverages, and refreshments promptly and professionally.
- Ensure tables are properly set before service and cleared after use.
- Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
- Process bills and handle customer payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and service areas.
- Assist in setting up banquet, conference, and special event services when required.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and report concerns to supervisors.
- Comply with food safety, health, and hospitality regulations.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping teams.
