Job Description
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent persons, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (30) years leading steel manufacture
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Configure and install various network devices & operating system (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, windows 10 & 11)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Perform System maintenance and user support.
Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues related to system, printers, and other IT assets.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Document IT related Contracts of Suppliers and vendors.
Ability to Travel within our branches for Preventive maintenance of system & networking devices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering.
At least two (2) years working experience in IT support functions.
Up-to-date knowledge of developments in computer hardware, software, and systems.
Knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification, maintenance and repair of ICT hardware and software.
Ability to work independently and yet be able to meet deadlines.
