Job Description
The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for managing the end-to-end installation process, including scheduling, logistics, performance management, material tracking, and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising field teams, providing onboarding and training for installers, ensuring the proper use of tools and equipment, resolving field issues, and maintaining compliance with job completion timelines. The supervisor will also be accountable for tracking daily performance metrics and reconciling inventory.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate daily appointments for installers in collaboration with dispatch.
Manage transportation and staging of materials to customer premises.
Ensure timely and successful completion of scheduled job tickets.
Track job ticket statuses and follow up on leads until closure.
Supervise installer teams to achieve a minimum of two installations per day per installer.
Approve additional material requests and coordinate any extra customer payments.
Ensure installers are equipped with KYC kits and toolboxes.
Oversee accessory/device pickup and reconciliation against deployments.
Monitor team attendance, lead closure rates, and installation completions daily.
Design and manage Project Journey Plans (PJPs) and conduct daily gate meetings.
Reconcile and investigate unfulfilled paid tickets within 24 hours.
Maintain installation logs and submit daily work/time reports.
Authorize returns/refunds for installations not accepted by customers.
Onboard and train new installers.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of installers.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Mandatory:
Diploma or Degree in Networks, Technical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in splicing and racking techniques.
Proven experience in fiber installations.
Added Advantages:
Experience managing teams and multiple complex requests.
Prior involvement in client onboarding processes.
Experience working in physically demanding environments such as rooftops or basements.
Hands-on knowledge in adjusting and installing telecommunications equipment.
