Job Description
As a Senior Fluid Pump Supervisor, the candidate will be in charge of planning, supervising, and executing all fluid pumping activities. This role includes managing field crew performance, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining compliance with operational and safety protocols. The position requires in-depth technical knowledge of pumping systems and strong leadership skills to manage on-site field operations in challenging conditions.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and supervise pumping operations for various fluid services (e.g., cementing, stimulation, pressure pumping).
Ensure equipment is fully functional and properly maintained before job execution.
Coordinate job execution with field engineers and other operational teams.
Monitor real-time operations and adjust pumping parameters as required.
Prepare and review job reports, safety checklists, and service tickets.
Train and mentor junior technicians and operators in field operations.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Liaise with clients during job execution and provide technical advice where necessary.
Respond quickly to operational issues or emergencies during pumping activities.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for field operations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fluid pumping operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Certifications: Relevant oilfield certifications are an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Deep understanding of fluid properties, pumping techniques, and job planning.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational issues in real time.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
High level of integrity and safety consciousness.
