Job Description
Client Brief
Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of Human Resource Officer.
Job Purpose
The Human Resource officer will shall be in charge of providing support in HR administration of the department not limited to assisting in recruitment, onboarding new staff, payroll management among others.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of the payroll under the supervision of the HR manager.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including deductions, overtime, and bonuses.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries related to payroll.
Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, maintaining accurate employee records.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Manage employee onboarding and off boarding processes.
Utilize SAP for HR functions, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
Generate reports from SAP to support HR analytics and decision-making.
Proficient in Excel to analyze and present HR data effectively.
Create and maintain HR reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
Utilize analytics tools to gather insights and trends in HR data.
Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve HR processes.
Stay updated on labor laws and regulations applicable to the manufacturing sector.
Ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements.
Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Social Work and Social Administration.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a busy manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of managing payroll and HR administration.
Advanced knowledge in managing leave, attendance, and Health insurance of staff.
Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel and exposure to HR Analytics are a definite advantage.
They should be flexible, self-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision.
