The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to human resource management and the use of technology to improve human-related performance at the workplace.
They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical yet human-centered mindset.
Recruitment and Staffing: Overseeing the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and selecting suitable candidates to fill vacant positions within the organization.
Employee Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive necessary training, information, and resources to integrate smoothly into the organization.
Employee Relations: Managing employee relations by addressing grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance management systems, including setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
Training and Development: Identifying training needs within the organization and coordinating training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
Compensation and Benefits Administration: Administering compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, incentives, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Policy Development and Compliance: Developing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as alignment with company objectives and values.
Employee Engagement and Retention: Implementing strategies to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, such as recognition programs, career development initiatives, and fostering a positive work culture.
Workforce Planning and Succession Planning: Planning and forecasting workforce needs based on business objectives, as well as developing succession plans to ensure continuity in key roles within the organization.
HR Administration and Record-Keeping: Managing HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Bachelors Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Labour Relations or any related fields.
3+ years of HR management.
Proficiency in HRIS software for managing employee data including recruitment and applicant tracking systems.
Thorough knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with performance management and learning management systems.
Understanding of payroll software and tax compliance.
Experience in utilizing technology to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency. Preferable: proficiency in HR reporting and analytics tools.
