Job Description
The Human Resource Manager will coordinate and administer HR functions in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. They will collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs, oversee recruitment, onboarding, staff development, performance appraisal systems, and employee engagement. The HR Manager is also responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, maintaining an effective HR information system, and managing payroll and separation processes.

Payroll and benefits administration.
Policy implementation and compliance.
Separation and exit procedures.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing gaps and workforce planning.
Develop annual recruitment plans and run job advertisements.
Oversee onboarding, induction, and probation tracking.
Policy Formulation and Implementation
Design and disseminate internal HR systems and procedures.
Coordinate policy reviews and staff training on HR guidelines.
Foster understanding and compliance through communication and seminars.
HR Administration
Supervise the HR Administrator in managing employee records and HRIS.
Oversee contract management and leave administration.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of HR information.
Performance Management
Guide departments through goal setting and annual appraisals.
Support capacity building in performance monitoring.
Provide performance reports and implement performance consequences.
Organizational Learning and Development
Develop and execute staff development and training plans.
Evaluate training impact and facilitate learning application.
Support change management initiatives.
Employee Engagement and Relations
Implement staff welfare programs.
Manage grievances and disciplinary actions.
Offer counseling and promote positive work culture.
Payroll Management
Prepare monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with Finance.
Maintain accurate payroll records.
Ensure timely NSSF contributions and respond to payroll queries.
Separation
Guide staff through resignations, transitions, and retirements.
Ensure exit processes adhere to labor laws.
Oversee internal staff movements and rotations.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resource Management and 9–10 years of HR managerial experience. OR
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field with over 10 years’ experience in an HR managerial role.
