Job Description

To support the Human Resources Department by collecting, analysing, and reporting accurate HR data to facilitate evidence-based decision-making. The role ensures integrity of HR information systems and provides timely HR analytics, reports, and insights to support workforce planning, talent management, organisational development, and statutory compliance.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

HR Data Management

  • Capture, maintain, and update employee data within the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of HR data across all systems.
  • Conduct routine data audits, validation checks, and reconciliations.

HR Reporting

  • Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc HR reports including but not limited to headcount, turnover, recruitment, training, performance, leave, and diversity statistics.
  • Compile management reports and dashboards for HR leadership and senior management.

HR Analytics


  • Analyse HR data to identify trends, variances, and workforce insights.
  • Support Talent & Organisation Development initiatives through data-driven analysis.
  • Provide analytical support for workforce planning and performance management processes.

HRIS Support

  • Assist in the development, automation, and standardisation of HR reports.
  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and testing related to HR reporting.
  • Provide basic user support related to HR reporting tools and data queries.

Compliance and Confidentiality

  • Ensure all HR data and reports comply with organisational policies and labour regulations.
  • Uphold data privacy, confidentiality, and ethical handling of employee information.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR data collection, reporting efficiency, and analytical methodologies.
  • Contribute to documentation of HR reporting procedures and data standards.

Collaboration

  • Liaise with HR colleagues and other departments to clarify reporting requirements.
  • Provide guidance on interpretation of HR reports and metrics when required.

  • Accuracy and timeliness of HR reports
  • Data integrity and completeness in HR systems
  • Quality and relevance of analytical insights provided
  • Compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards
