Role Overview
SunCulture is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales operations in Uganda.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Kampala.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing SunCulture’s national sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and empowering the sales team to build long-lasting customer relationships.
This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven leader who thrives on building high-performance teams and delivering measurable results.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with SunCulture’s short- and long-term goals.
Drive sales growth through rigorous performance analysis and periodic reporting on volumes, forecasts, and expansion opportunities.
Define and manage key sales KPIs, forecasts, budgets, and operational plans.
Assess and optimize routes to market while introducing innovative sales approaches to maximize efficiency and performance.
Identify market trends and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Design and execute retention initiatives and performance management programs for sales teams.
Expand SunCulture’s distribution network by recruiting and supporting agro-dealers and retail partners.
Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of Field Sales Agents (FSAs).
Implement customer acquisition strategies to drive traffic across service centers and improve conversion rates.
Develop targeted segmentation strategies to tailor approaches for different market segments.
Design effective sales incentive and commission schemes to motivate and reward high performers.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a national sales team — including Regional Sales Managers, Team Leads, Service Center Associates, and FSAs.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and ownership within the sales organization.
Monitor and support career growth through structured coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
Identify and address performance challenges using data-driven insights.
Encourage best practices, recognition, and responsible financial management across the team.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
Partner with the Training Manager to identify and close skills gaps within the sales team.
Work closely with HR
