Job Description

To provide high-quality teaching and learning in Entrepreneurship at both Ordinary and Advanced Levels, while instilling moral values, self-discipline, ethical behaviour, and personal responsibility in students, and laying a strong foundation for further education and life skills.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Planning and Preparation

  • Prepare timely and comprehensive schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the approved curriculum.
  • Develop and gather appropriate teaching aids and learning resources, especially for practical and skills-based lessons.

2. Teaching and Learning

  • Teach Entrepreneurship to assigned classes at both O-Level and A-Level.
  • Use learner-centred methods such as guided group discussions, debates, and internal seminars, especially for candidate classes.
  • Complete the syllabus in good time and allow adequate time for revision.
  • Identify slow learners and provide remedial support to ensure all students understand the subject content.

3. Student Monitoring, Assessment, and Guidance

  • Monitor students’ academic progress and provide counselling and academic guidance where needed.
  • Set, administer, and mark tests, exercises, and examination scripts in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of students’ performance and progress.

4. Co-curricular and School Activities

  • Participate actively in co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the school.
  • Support school programmes and events that promote holistic student development.

5. Safety, Conduct, and Professional Standards

  • Comply with all school safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Uphold professional ethics, discipline, and positive role modelling at all times.

6. Other Duties

  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Deputy Head Teacher or School Management from time to time.
