A General Manager is the overall head of the Inspire African Coffee and oversees setting the Company`s strategic course, guiding its success, managing regular flow of operations, and making major corporate decisions. S/he reports to the Group CEO.

Take overall leadership and oversight of the Inspire Africa Coffee staff team to deliver the company goals and objectives.
Oversee the preparation of consolidated budgets, required reports and forecasts and present them or recommend them for adoption to the Board of directors.
Manage and direct the coffee processing factory to achieve optimum profitability and effective use of business assets and human resources.
Organize resources, systems and the drive for realizing the Vision & Mission in order to achieve sustained profitable growth of the Company its excellence
Plan and design new methods for developing and strengthening organizational climate.
Develop organization responsive to changing environment by retaining employees, motivated, innovative and committed.
Manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing and competitive environment.
Leading the development of the company’s short and long-term strategy, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
Making major corporate decisions, and managing the overall operations and resources of a company.
Communicating, on behalf of the company, with shareholders, government entities, and the public
Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.
Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
Evaluating the work of other executive leaders within the company, including chief executives, managing director among others
Developing fresh ideas for the running of the company.
Monitoring how various departments of the company operate and how they work together to achieve overall goals.
Creating and implementing strategies, together with the senior management team, to determine the direction the company will take.
Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
Creating a positive culture in the company.
Any other responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time.

Should possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or relevant field as a minimum
10 years of experience, 5 of which should have been at a senior management level in the beverage processing and manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in vision implementation and developing strategies
Knowledge of various business functions such as marketing, HR, finance, sales, etc.
Entrepreneurial mindset
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of general management and corporate governance best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the industry, including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
Computer literacy
