Job Description
Humanity and Inclusion is seeking two Community Mobilisers to contribute to the dissemination of Gender Based Violence (GBV) messages and strengthen links between community structures and HI activities. The roles involve awareness-raising on GBV, Child Protection, and Disability Inclusion topics at the community level. Successful candidates will facilitate local leader engagement and ensure accurate data management and reporting.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct awareness-raising sessions on GBV, Child Protection and Disability Inclusion topics at the community level.
- Work closely with the Project manager and Project officer to discuss and update community level activities.
- Participation in the mobilization of community level activities, workshops and surveys where necessary.
- Ensure that a secure identification, referral and monitoring mechanism is implemented internally and externally, in accordance with HI standards, as appropriate.
- Report to the supervisor the activities carried out, challenges encountered, strengths, constraints and lessons learnt
- Facilitate the collective engagement of local leaders on the issues identified.
- Ensure that the data collected is accurate, complete and consistent
- Gather all the needed information related to the awareness-raising process in the field, as well as the perception of its community with regard to specific issues
- Identify and report all protection risks at individual, school and community level and refer all cases requiring specialized complementary individual psychosocial support.
- Ensure follow up of the beneficiaries and document the follow up according to the monitoring plan
- Keep all files in order and respect confidentiality.
- Ensure that internal standards and guidelines are met
