Job Summary: Lead our culinary team as a General Manager at one of Kampala’s top restaurants! Were looking for an experienced professional with a passion for food and hospitality.
The General Manager will oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring excellent service, profitability, and a motivated team. You will manage staff, operations, finances, and customer experiences, while upholding Hugamara’s standards and brand values.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff; foster a motivated, customer-focused team.
Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and licensing regulations.
Finance & Sales: Monitor sales, manage costs and inventory, and ensure the restaurant meets profitability targets.
Customer Service: Maintain high service standards; handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
Strategy & Development: Support marketing, promotions, and initiatives to grow the restaurant’s success.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a high-end or fast-paced environment.
