Job Description
The Front Desk Officer will be the face of RELON, ensuring a warm and professional environment for guests and partners. This role involves managing reception duties, handling internal communications, maintaining the organization’s digital presence, managing data and inventory, and supporting office administration. The officer will collaborate across departments to ensure effective coordination and a cohesive work environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Reception Duties:
Welcome and assist visitors professionally and courteously.
Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them appropriately.
Provide basic information about RELON’s programs and initiatives.
Information Technology and Website Management:
Assist the communications team in maintaining RELON’s website and social media platforms.
Support digital content strategies, newsletters, and general IT troubleshooting for staff.
Office Administration:
Maintain office supplies, staff schedules, and meeting arrangements.
Organize documentation and help with office logistics.
Data Management:
Manage and update stakeholder databases securely.
Support data compilation and reporting for projects.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with various departments for smooth internal operations.
Participate in meetings and suggest improvements for office procedures.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
At least 2 years in front desk or customer service roles, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Experience in website management and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Basic knowledge of graphic design and digital tools.
Familiarity with social media and communication platforms.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Friendly, professional demeanor with team collaboration ability.
Language:
Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
