Job Description
As a Forensics Technology Assistant Manager, you will lead and contribute to forensic data analytics and cyber-crime investigations. You will analyze data across multiple business domains such as finance, HR, and procurement to uncover irregularities and provide litigation support. The role involves gathering digital evidence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving internal processes, and ensuring compliance with legal frameworks. Strong technical proficiency, analytical acumen, and communication skills are key to success in this position.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Use forensic data analytics tools to extract, analyze, and interpret complex datasets across business units
Gather and document electronic evidence for legal use
Conduct in-depth analysis to identify anomalies and support forensic investigations
Collaborate with teams on cyber-crime and data investigations
Continuously update knowledge on forensic analytics technologies and methodologies
Enhance internal forensic data analytics practices for efficiency and compliance
Support leadership and project management, mentoring junior staff
Liaise with legal teams to explain technical evidence and investigative findings
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Forensic Accountancy, or a related field
Experience:
3–6 years in forensic data analytics, digital forensics, eDiscovery, or cyber investigations
Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
Certified Data Analyst (CDA)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, MS SQL Server, Alteryx (preferred)
Strong understanding of business processes, systems, databases, and mobile technologies
Familiarity with laws governing digital forensic evidence
Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Excellent collaboration and team leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
