Job Description
The Flight Attendant Team Lead (Flight Purser) will oversee cabin operations and guide the team to deliver exemplary customer service while maintaining safety and compliance with aviation regulations. This role involves leadership, communication, mentorship, in-flight sales management, emergency coordination, and reporting. It requires an experienced, professional, and people-centered individual with the ability to lead under pressure and ensure a seamless in-flight experience.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the cabin crew team during flights
Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures through regular checks and briefings
Supervise and deliver exceptional passenger service throughout the flight
Act as the main link between the cabin crew and the flight deck officers
Drive in-flight sales and manage onboard inventory and services
Guide crew members during emergencies and enforce safety protocols
Mentor and support crew professional development and performance
Ensure compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and uniform standards
Handle and resolve passenger concerns effectively
Maintain accurate documentation and analyze passenger feedback for service improvement
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality or related field
Experience: Minimum of two years as cabin crew; leadership experience preferred
Certifications: Valid Cabin Crew Member Certificate; professional body membership is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
In-depth knowledge of aviation safety procedures and regulatory compliance
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Professional demeanor, grooming, and customer service orientation
