Job Description
This role involves managing guest requests and inquiries through phone, email, chat, and mobile devices. The Supervisor operates the switchboard, records messages, books wake-up calls, and ensures guest queries are addressed by the right departments. The role also includes assisting with food and beverage orders, guestroom entertainment access, and internet-related issues. Supervisory tasks include coaching team members, monitoring safety procedures, and upholding brand standards. The At Your Service Supervisor will also contribute to maintaining a professional work environment and ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Answer and process guest requests via telephone, email, and other channels
Operate switchboard and handle wake-up call requests
Record, log, and relay guest messages and issues accurately
Provide information on room features, property amenities, and local attractions
Process food & beverage orders and assist guests with entertainment/internet access
Conduct follow-ups to ensure guest satisfaction
Support training, motivation, and coaching of employees
Report accidents, injuries, and security concerns
Ensure personal grooming and uniform standards are met
Comply with company policies, maintain confidentiality, and protect assets
Develop positive relationships with colleagues and support team goals
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role (customer service, hospitality, or front desk preferred)
Supervisory Experience: Not required but experience in leading or mentoring a team is an advantage
Skills and Competencies:
Clear and professional communication skills
Guest-centric and empathetic approach
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Strong organizational skills
Familiarity with hotel operations systems is a plus
