We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's fleet, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations. The Fleet Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing fleet performance, minimizing costs, and enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the company's fleet operations to meet organizational objectives.
Manage the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of vehicles in the fleet.
Optimize fleet utilization, scheduling, and routing to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Monitor fleet performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Supervise and train fleet personnel, including drivers and maintenance staff.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Oversee inventory management for spare parts, fuel, and other fleet-related resources.
Prepare and manage the fleet budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
Implement and maintain fleet management software systems to streamline operations and enhance visibility.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, transportation, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
Proven experience in fleet management, with at least [3] years of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
