Info-code Consults Ltd is looking for a highly organized and proactive Fleet Manager to join our team in Kampala. This is a full-time, on-site role where you’ll be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of our fleet operations. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal vehicle maintenance, manage daily fleet operations, and implement strategies that streamline processes for maximum efficiency. As Fleet Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring that the fleet aligns with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The role requires excellent leadership skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

How to Apply

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure seamless integration of fleet operations with broader business objectives.

  • Monitor and manage the fleet budget, ensuring cost control and identifying areas for savings while maintaining operational effectiveness.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents involving fleet vehicles, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all fleet-related activities, including maintenance logs, driver performance reports, and incident reports.

  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and industry best practices in fleet operations.

  • Proven experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and logistics coordination.

  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to assess performance data, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions.

  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and understanding vehicle issues.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams, drivers, and vendors.

  • Minimum educational qualification: Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Transport Management, or a related field.

  • Valid driving permit with classes B, C, C1, and above (with proven driving experience).

  • Previous experience in automotive vehicle mechanics, administration and management of fleets
