Job Description
To make spare parts for machines as well as maintaining the already existing ones in good working condition.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in making of spares, repair and maintenance of machines.
Participate in the making of spare parts for machines in the workshop.
Participate in the maintenance and repair of workshop machines.
Work on emergencies/breakdowns as required.
Custody of tools/equipment
Keep the workshop tools and equipment in safe custody after duty.
House keeping
Clean the working environment and maintain good house keeping
Complying with safety measures
Adhere to the safety, health and environment policy of the company
Other duties
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Workshop Supervisor/Management from time to time.
Qualifications and Competencies
A Trade Test Certificate from a recognized institution.
Experience, Skills and Competences:
At least two (2) years working experience and knowledge in using lathe machines in a busy Organization.
