Job Description
To monitor equipment in the section for efficient operation and carry out routine maintenance checks on machinery.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Monitor equipment in the section for efficient operation.
Carry out routine maintenance checks on machinery and rectify any faults.
Carry out timely repair of any machinery and rectify any faults.
Clean the working environment and maintain good housekeeping.
Adhere to the safety, health and environment policy of the company.
Perform any other related duties as maybe assigned by the Supervisor – Boiler Operation DCS/Management from time to time.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Craft certificate in mechanical engineering or trade test from a recognized institute.
Experience, Skills and Competences:
A minimum of at least two (2) years working experience as a fitter in a busy organization.
Knowledge in fitting, alignment of equipment, fabrication and welding, lathe machine operation skills, machinery installation principles, use of lubricants and machine servicing and good communication skills.
