Job Description
Job Title: First Officer (Aviation Jobs)
Organisation: Uganda Airlines
Duty Station: Entebbe, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Flight Operations Support: Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in all aspects of flight operations, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
Flight Monitoring: Monitor flight parameters and systems, alerting the PIC to any deviations from normal operations.
Pre-Flight Briefings: Participate in pre-flight planning and briefings, contributing to route selection, fuel calculations, and alternate planning.
Crew Coordination: Coordinate with cabin crew and ground services to ensure smooth and efficient flight operations.
Emergency Procedures: Assist in the execution of emergency procedures, ensuring the safety and security of passengers and crew.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Ugandan Nationals
Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL);
Valid Instruments rating;
Valid Class 1 Medical;
Valid Multiengine Rating
A minimum of 250 total flying hours.
