Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• Documenting all patient assessments, interventions, and observations accurately and comprehensively in medical records or electronic health records.

• Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of patient information in accordance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team, including obstetricians, nurses, pediatricians, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Communicating effectively with patients and their families, providing information, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

Health Education and Promotion:

• Providing health education and promotion to pregnant women and new mothers on topics such as nutrition, prenatal care, childbirth preparation, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
