Job Description
As an English Teacher at Woodgate Structure Limited, you will guide students through language-based instruction that builds a strong foundation in English grammar, composition, literature, and vocabulary. You will plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans, create a positive classroom environment, and assess student performance to support individual learning needs. The teacher will also be expected to foster critical thinking, promote communication skills, and encourage a love for reading and writing. Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
Teach English language components such as grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and literature
Evaluate and monitor student progress through assessments and assignments
Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning
Foster students’ critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills
Provide individual support to students where needed
Maintain classroom discipline and encourage respectful student behavior
Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Stay updated on developments in English education and teaching techniques

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
