Job Description

As COO, you will develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s vision. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of photography and production studios, ensuring optimal scheduling, efficient equipment use, and effective team coordination. Your role will involve leveraging your photography expertise to guide the quality and consistency of visual content, maintaining brand aesthetics, and ensuring storytelling is on point.

You will lead cross-functional teams, including photographers, editors, producers, and administrative staff, to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. The role also requires you to manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and cost-efficiency for photography projects. You will design and implement efficient workflows for image production, editing, delivery, and archiving.

Supporting the CEO and sales team, you will identify new markets and opportunities, particularly in the photography, media, and creative services industries. Additionally, you will recruit skilled professionals and provide mentorship and training aligned with company standards, while introducing and managing relevant photography technologies, editing software, and asset management systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Photography, or a related field

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations, preferably in the photography or media industry

  • Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer, Operations Manager, or a senior leadership role in the photography or creative industry

  • Strong understanding of photography, digital asset management, and trading platforms

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to analyze business operations and develop improvement strategies

  • Proficiency in business management software and Microsoft Office Suite
