Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Post daily media content for both Protea Skyz Hotel and Protea Hotel Kampala across all social media platforms, aligning with the hotel's marketing strategy.
Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, pay-per-click ads (Google Ads, social media ads), social media marketing, content marketing, traditional marketing, and marketing analytics for both hotels.
Develop business marketing strategies for both hotels, incorporating both traditional and digital media.
Maintain and promote the brand’s voice and presence across both digital and traditional media channels.
Collaborate with the team to develop and execute marketing strategies on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for both hotels.
Research the brands and ensure marketing efforts align with Marriott guidelines, standards, and Simba Group regulations.
Conduct regular competitor analysis within the hotel industry in Kampala, East Africa, and Africa.
Oversee traditional marketing channels such as print, radio, billboards, and television, ensuring monthly execution.
Supervise media and graphics teams to ensure timely completion and approval of all tasks by the head of marketing.
Strategize, brainstorm, and implement marketing plans monthly, quarterly, and annually for both hotels.
Collaborate with hotel management weekly to gather insights and develop innovative marketing and branding strategies.
Manage relationships and coordinate with other departments, such as sales, food & beverage, general managers, and brand leads.
Coordinate partnerships and sponsorships for the hotels, in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and General Managers.
Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing reports for both hotels.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3 to 4 years of experience as a Digital Marketing Associate, specializing in digital ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
