Role Purpose
The Coordinator – Demand & System Integration plays a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and functionality of MTN Uganda's products and services. This role is responsible for planning and executing end-to-end testing—including Solution Integration Testing and Post-Deployment Testing—to support business performance goals and ensure that all product releases meet defined standards and customer expectations.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Product Testing & Quality Assurance
Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for new and existing products.
Validate product performance against business requirements and technical specifications.
Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure system functionality across various platforms and use cases.
Perform regression testing, identify bugs, and escalate issues to relevant teams for resolution.
Test Coordination & Monitoring
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including vendors, developers, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Monitor and track testing progress, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Ensure all testing prerequisites (data, environments, tools) are in place before execution.
Document test outcomes, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
Process & Compliance
Ensure product development and deployment align with defined policies, processes, and procedures.
Promote adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
Contribute to the design of procedures guiding the launch of new products and system enhancements.
Support & Continuous Improvement
Analyze and troubleshoot customer-reported issues to determine root causes and corrective actions.
Provide feedback and support on product enhancements across various business segments.
Review product functionality regularly and provide insights to improve system performance and customer experience.
Drive innovation by ensuring products and services remain aligned with evolving business goals.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or a Commercial discipline.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, or PMBOK) is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in systems integration, product testing, or IT project management.
Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
Proven ability to manage complex testing projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Background in change management and process improvement is desirable.
Previous experience in the telecom industry or with a reputable organization is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of product lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
Proficiency in project reporting, documentation, and communication planning.
Knowledge of business risk management and corporate governance.
Familiarity with ITIL standards and service delivery best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communicator and team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Knowledge of telecommunications business management is a plus.
