Job Description
Vacancy Title: Community Liaison Officer
No. of posts: 1
Reporting to: General Manager / Sustainability
Location: Kalangala
The Community Liaison Officer will strengthen relationships between the company and surrounding communities by supporting stakeholder engagement, social impact assessment, compliance, and community development initiatives.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
- Support implementation of community engagement and sustainability programs.
- Monitor and assess social impacts of company projects on communities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements affecting community operations.
- Handle community concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution matters.
- Supervise and guide subordinate staff where necessary.
- Collect, analyze, and report community-related data.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management.
