Job Description
The Cash Management Officer will be responsible for ensuring effective administration of cash management operations, including vault access control. Key duties include the review of reports and internal ledgers, preparing required regulatory and internal reports, and overseeing branch-wide transaction approvals. The officer will also maintain high customer service standards, handle customer complaints, coordinate the bank’s Cash Management Unit, and ensure proper reconciliation of transactions. A significant part of the role is to drive digital adoption in line with the bank's strategy and promote the bank's products and services to build customer interest. The role also includes ensuring compliance with banking regulations and operational risk management procedures.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Administer cash management and vault access control effectively.
Regularly review reports and internal ledgers.
Create a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance internal customer service delivery.
Ensure the prompt submission of required regulatory and internal reports.
Approve branch-wide transactions.
Maintain customer service benchmarking standards.
Manage customer complaints.
Coordinate the bank-wide Cash Management Unit.
Prepare proofs and reconcile transactions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal monitoring.
Build customer interest in the bank’s products and services.
Drive digital adoption in line with the bank's strategy.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ banking experience in Cash Management, Customer Service, and Branch Operations.
Competencies:
