Job Description

The Car Sales Executive will play a key role in achieving the company’s sales targets by interacting directly with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products. The role involves managing sales inquiries, quoting prices and terms, following up after sales, and monitoring market trends. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong interpersonal and sales skills. The position reports to the Sales Manager and involves working closely with the wider sales team to meet performance goals.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions about product features, prices, availability, and payment terms

  • Recommend vehicles that best meet customer preferences and financial situations

  • Provide accurate price quotations, warranty details, delivery timelines, and contract terms

  • Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues

  • Share promotional materials such as catalogs and samples with customers

  • Monitor competitor activity and market conditions

  • Support marketing efforts and campaigns in collaboration with the sales team

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary Diploma in a relevant field

  • 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive or related sector


Key Competencies:

  • Active listening and excellent communication skills

  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities

  • Time management and customer service orientation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail

  • Fluent in English


Preferred Competencies:

  • Critical thinking and coordination

  • Prior knowledge in transportation or vehicle sales

  • Experience in sales and marketing or customer relations
