Job Description
Job Title: Business Transformation Analyst
Organisation: Pride Bank
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
The Business Transformation Analyst will report to the Manager Strategy & Transformation and will be based at Head office. He/ she will responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and delivery of strategic and operational transformation initiatives that align with the Bank’s corporate strategy. This includes driving change initiatives, conducting market research/ intelligence & performance diagnostics, and identifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and business model evolution.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
Conduct business diagnostics and root cause analysis to identify performance gaps and transformation opportunities.
Support the design and structuring of transformation programs, including problem definition, hypothesis development, and solution scoping.
Prepare executive-level presentations, transformation roadmaps, and status updates.
Collaborate with business units and project teams to implement key transformation initiatives.
Track initiative progress and identify risks, bottlenecks, and interdependencies.
Recommend course corrections based on initiative performance and stakeholder feedback.
Conduct research on trends, benchmarks, competition, and innovations relevant to the banking sector and emerging technologies.
Contribute to pilot testing of new business ideas, processes, and tools.
Assist in embedding sustainability practices and inclusive finance principles into transformation efforts.
Work with change champions to support change management and communication efforts across departments.
Gather and incorporate user feedback into initiative design and delivery.
Promote collaboration and alignment between departments to reduce siloed operations.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Strategy, Finance, or related field Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or business transformation roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with project management, change management, and digital innovation.
