Specific responsibilities include.

• Develop and lead the implementation of the group banking growth strategies including loans and savings as well as the uptake of other products in line with the business plan.
• Collaborate and coordinate the development of the group banking budget and targets and ensure timely communication and dissemination of the targets to branches. Work with credit and operations department and develop /review the processes, policies, and procedures for efficient delivery of group banking products
• and services and monitor their implementation to achieve the set targets.
• Liaise with credit and develop and implement credit risk management
• strategies that will ensure writing of good quality loans and maintenance of good portfolio quality in line with the set targets (Portfolio at Risk target).
• Liaise with the regional teams to implement group banking supervision and monitoring activities for all branches in line with the group banking work plan and the regulatory framework.
• Supervise the implementation of the group lending policies and procedures for compliance and achievement of the portfolio quality targets.
