On behalf of our client in the manufacturing sector, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Business Manager to oversee retail operations for Azone outlets across Uganda.
Role Overview
The Business Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of Azone retail stores nationwide. This includes driving revenue growth, improving operational efficiency, ensuring excellent customer service, overseeing inventory management, and leading teams to meet strategic business goals.

Oversee daily retail operations ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
Optimize store layouts, product merchandising, and promotional activities.
Drive operational excellence through process improvements and innovation.
Ensure all stores meet health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
4. Inventory & Financial Oversight
Manage inventory levels, replenishment cycles, and minimize stock losses.
Oversee supply chain operations to ensure product availability.
Monitor budgets, implement cost-control measures, and manage financial reports.
Track financial KPIs and identify areas for revenue growth and expense reduction.
5. Reporting & Market Insights
Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity.
Analyze sales trends and customer behavior for strategic planning.
Present performance reports and business insights to senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail or business operations, with a proven record of driving sales and managing large teams.
Strong leadership and people management skills across multiple retail locations.
Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
Experience in inventory, sales forecasting, and performance analysis.
Proficient in POS and ERP systems.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
