Job Description
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, pitching Pesapal’s products and services, closing deals, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires research, engagement with prospective clients, follow-up on leads, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves monitoring market trends and providing strategic input to refine the company’s unique value proposition.

How to Apply
Identify business opportunities in new markets, customer needs, and industry trends
Analyze competitors to develop unique selling propositions
Prospect for new clients and prepare tailored proposals and quotes
Gather customer feedback to support internal product improvement
Engage and follow up with leads to ensure timely conversion
Onboard merchants in compliance with KYC and approval processes
Retain existing clients by building long-term relationships
Maintain customer and sales data in the CRM system
Prepare regular progress reports on performance and improvement areas
Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
Proven sales track record with knowledge of the retail industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
