Job Description
As a Business Analyst specializing in RPA, you will analyze business processes, gather and define requirements, design automation solutions, and lead the implementation and validation of these solutions. You will work cross-functionally to manage projects from initiation through to delivery, using tools such as Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation. You will also be responsible for reporting on progress and ensuring change management strategies support seamless solution adoption. This is a permanent role based in Midrand, Gauteng.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes to identify automation opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for RPA projects.
Design end-to-end automation solutions and process workflows alongside RPA developers.
Manage RPA project timelines, deliverables, and goals.
Lead testing and validation phases to ensure accuracy and functionality of automation.
Facilitate change management to promote adoption of RPA within the organization.
Monitor and report on performance of implemented RPA solutions, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Prepare and present performance metrics, ROI, and project updates to senior management.
Track all project activities using Jira and maintain updated documentation on Confluence.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
ITIL V4/V5 Foundations certification.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
Hands-on experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
Familiarity with process mapping tools and techniques.
Working experience with systems such as ServiceNow, ForceLink, MSPI, and Siebel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage projects and apply project management methodologies.
Proficiency in Jira (for project tracking) and Confluence (for documentation).
Experience in a telecommunications operational environment is advantageous.
