Job Description
The Banking Advisor will play a critical support role in assisting Private Bankers with managing client portfolios by conducting analysis, market research, and fulfilling service requirements. This role includes managing client relationships, identifying banking opportunities, and enhancing customer engagement. The Advisor is expected to contribute to service excellence, lead generation, cross-functional collaboration, and uphold governance and compliance standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support Private Bankers in managing a portfolio of affluent clients
Provide analytical, research, sales, and service support to enable portfolio growth
Identify opportunities for onboarding new clients and cross-selling financial products
Deliver exceptional client service that meets and exceeds expectations
Manage and grow client account base through lead generation and relationship nurturing
Promote all financial services solutions relevant to the business offering
Maintain and update customer and operational records accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with internal processes, policies, and relevant legal and governance frameworks
Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Assist in managing operational objectives through key stakeholder collaboration
Act responsibly with organizational resources to ensure cost efficiency
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Banking, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred)
Experience and Competencies:
Experience in client service, banking advisory, or relationship management
Proven ability to meet financial and customer service targets
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills
Understanding of financial services products and digital banking solutions
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Proficiency in planning, reporting, and administrative execution
