Associate Consultant – Radiology (4 Positions) Job at EMERGENCY
EMERGENCY
Job Description
EMERGENCY is seeking highly qualified and committed Associate Consultants in Radiology to join the clinical team at the Children’s Surgical Hospital in Entebbe. The successful candidates will provide expert diagnostic imaging services and support the hospital’s mission of delivering free, high-quality healthcare to children.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other modalities as available.
- Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to support clinical decision-making.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and case discussions.
- Ensure quality control, radiation safety, and equipment maintenance standards are followed.
- Supervise and mentor junior radiology staff and technologists.
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call duties.
- Maintain proper documentation of imaging procedures and reports.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and training activities.
- Uphold EMERGENCY’s values of integrity, respect, and patient-centered care.
