Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager will guide and support Lead Generators by providing tools, training, and direction to achieve individual and team sales goals. The position will involve supervising sales activities, ensuring operational compliance, expanding business opportunities, and managing team development and personal growth. The role requires regular performance monitoring and implementation of strategies to improve productivity and sales delivery.

How to Apply
Supervision of Lead Generators (40%)
Equip Lead Generators with necessary tools and information
Monitor and coach performance on a regular basis
Set and agree on individual sales and performance targets
Manage team attendance, leave, and HR-related matters
Ensure proper onboarding and induction of new team members
Participate in recruitment and disciplinary procedures
Supervision of Sales Activities (30%)
Promote and oversee product campaigns
Track and analyze sales performance
Train Lead Generators on products and application processes
Business Expansion (10%)
Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to open new markets
Conduct sales activations and financial literacy sessions
Identify and follow up on leads for company partnerships
Operational Rigour, Compliance and Controls (10%)
Ensure compliance with risk management frameworks and bank policies
Review accuracy of customer documentation
Uphold KYC, AML, health & safety, and audit standards
Monitor team attendance, performance, and exit processes
Team Development and Collaboration (5%)
Share best practices and experiences across sales teams
Support other Area Sales Managers and deputize for the Regional Sales Manager when needed
Personal Development (5%)
Set and track personal performance objectives
Participate in learning and development programs
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, marketing, or related field
Relevant frontline banking sales/service experience
Preferred Experience
Sales experience in a financial institution
Familiarity with the bank’s products, services, and internal processes
Understanding of regulatory standards (KYC, AML, Health & Safety)
Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage performance and drive sales
Risk and compliance management
Use of Lead Generator (LG) Management Tools
Results-driven and customer-focused mindset
