About the Role
Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a regional manpower solutions provider operating across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. Ltd (CPP), we are seeking qualified, experienced, and motivated candidates for the role of Chinese Translator, to be based onsite in Uganda.

How to Apply
Translate technical documents, project plans, specifications, and reports from English to Chinese and vice versa.
Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency, especially with technical terminology.
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and team members to support multilingual communication.
Provide interpretation services during meetings, site visits, and other project-related events.
Maintain and update a glossary of technical terms and ensure consistency across all communications.
Offer language support and address linguistic inquiries from project teams.

Prior experience in translation, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or related industries.
Native English speaker with fluent Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
HSK Level 3 or higher is preferred.
Strong understanding of industry-specific terminology.
Familiarity with translation software/tools is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, cross-cultural communication skills, and a high level of professionalism.
