Job Title: Business Analysts (4 Positions)

Reports To: Team Leader, Business Analysis
Supervises: None

Job Purpose

To document and analyse business requirements for new or modified IT solutions aimed at improving business efficiency and productivity.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and understand their needs, goals, and challenges.

  • Analyse requirements and develop system specifications that address customer needs.

  • Create detailed documentation including business requirement documents, functional specs, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.

  • Work with solution architects and developers to propose and prototype effective solutions.

  • Serve as the communication bridge between business stakeholders and the project team.

  • Ensure that proposed solutions meet business requirements through verification and validation.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm usability and functionality.

  • Assess risks associated with proposed changes or initiatives.

  • Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing technical documentation for compliance with Bank standards.

  • Perform tasks assigned in the system deployment plan (SDP).

  • Conduct feasibility studies for potential IT solutions.

  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Business Analysis and QA Division in support of Bank objectives.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Minimum Qualification

  • A First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Data Science

  • Certifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, IT Service Management, or Quality Assurance are an added advantage

Experience

  • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience in IT business analysis or related areas

Age Requirement

  • Applicants must be between 32 and 37 years of age at the time of application deadline
