The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) of Uganda is a pivotal government institution mandated to establish, promote, and regulate the sustainable development, utilization, and management of energy and mineral resources to support social and economic transformation. With a mission to ensure reliable, affordable, and modern energy services and mineral resources for sustainable development, MEMD is highly recognized both locally and internationally for its role in driving Uganda’s industrialization and infrastructure agenda.
