Tender Description:
This procurement seeks to upgrade and modernize ICT Innovation Hubs at three public universities to improve access to advanced digital tools, infrastructure, and collaborative innovation spaces. The project will enhance the universities’ capacity to support ICT research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, contributing to the growth of Uganda’s digital economy.
Scope of Work:
The Contractor shall undertake the upgrade of ICT Innovation Hubs at Busitema University, Gulu University, and Soroti University. The scope shall include assessment of existing facilities, supply and installation of modern ICT equipment and infrastructure, upgrading network connectivity and power backup systems, installation of relevant software platforms, and enhancement of cybersecurity measures. The Contractor shall also configure collaborative workspaces, innovation labs, and training facilities, provide user training and technical support, and ensure full commissioning and handover of the upgraded hubs. All works shall comply with agreed technical specifications and industry standards.
