Position: Website Administrator (Remote Job)

Location: Remote (East Africa Time Zone)
Work Type: 100% Remote, Full-time
Salary: shs. 400,000 ($110) net pay per month
As a Website Administrator, you will manage and coordinate content across 2 websites for HTCUL and its affiliated platforms. The role includes updating CMS content, distributing job information via social platforms, publishing SEO-optimized blog articles, performing keyword research, data entry, and ensuring overall platform performance. This is a full-time remote role designed for someone digitally literate with strong initiative and organizational skills.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Managing daily content updates using a content management system (CMS)
Drafting and distributing daily job alerts via WhatsApp
Creating and publishing SEO-optimized blog articles and job summaries
Formatting and sharing content on social platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
Conducting keyword research and analyzing competitor trends
Creating visuals and short-form videos using tools like Canva, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
Repurposing job listings into segments (e.g., entry-level, administrative roles)
Performing regular data entry tasks such as tagging jobs, updating categories, and tracking performance
Monitoring site functionality and troubleshooting form/application issues
Compiling daily performance reports and planning next-day activities

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
Excellent writing, blogging, and digital communication skills
Proficient in Canva, basic video editing, and content formatting
Familiar with CMS tools (WordPress, or similar)
Strong grasp of SEO and familiarity with keyword research tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs
Comfortable handling content categorization and data entry
Self-driven with strong time management and remote work discipline
Prior experience in blogging, social media, or digital marketing is an added advantage
Active presence on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, or TikTok is a plus
Reliable internet connection and mobile-friendly digital mindset
